Government Affairs

The DCR Chamber promotes pro-business initiatives and legislation, relative to your business at the municipal and regional levels, as well as at the state capitol. Transportation, health care costs, taxes, and economic development are policy areas where DCRC will be influential on behalf of its members.

Chamber members are encouraged to get involved with local politics and community organizations to represent business on these bodies of government. There are many opportunities to make a difference in your community by being active on the Economic Development Agency, City Council, Task Forces, County Boards, and focus groups. Contact Dakota County or your community City Hall to find out about these opportunities as most have rolling application processes.
