Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings and Groundbreaking Events

Opening a new business, relocating, or reopening? The DCR Chamber invites members to host Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Opening events. These events are great opportunities to bring members of the chamber and community into your business, introduce yourself to others and advertise your company.

What the Chamber will do:

The Chamber will invite Ambassadors and city staff to attend the event to honor your business. Additionally, the chamber will advertise your ribbon cutting in the weekly update and online events calendar. Staff members will attend your ribbon cutting, bringing the big scissors and ribbon. We see this event as being a great marketing opportunity for your business, so we will take a picture at the ribbon cutting and display this picture on the weekly update for members to see. These events are complimentary for being a member of the chamber.  We also encourage you to invite your clients, neighboring businesses and other members. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other members and introduce them to your business.
