During 2015, these scholarships will be awarded to female students as part of your Chamber's annual WomEn's Conference. Four, $500 will be awarded during each year's Conference/
Dakota County Leadership Academy is a program that will serve as a platform to create and develop civic and business leaders in our communities by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to continue the growth and prosperity the area has enjoyed. In 2005, the first Dakota County Leadership Academy class was completed with 15 attendees and over the years more than doubled its impact until 2009 when it graduated its final class for economic reasons. Today, chamber leadership continues to explore the possiblity of re-establishing this program to address the region's challenges as we enter a new phase of the "Talent Economy".
